Every year since 1982, INANE has brought together nursing editors, publishers, authors, librarians, and scholars from around the world to discuss editorial practice, nursing publication, and the future of nursing literature.
No membership required. Open to the entire nursing community.

45th INANE Annual Conference — Albany, New York
August 2, 3, and 4, 2027
Conference sessions will be held at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
Conference hotel: Hilton Garden Inn Albany Medical Center, 62 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, New York 12208. The hotel is directly across from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
The 2027 conference is being held in collaboration with Russell Sage College and the INANE Scholarly Archive.

The 2028 INANE Annual Conference will be held virtually, making it possible for members of the global nursing editorial community to participate from wherever they are. Dates and additional details will be announced.
About the INANE Annual Conference
The INANE annual conference provides an opportunity for community members from around the world to come together to discuss issues related to nursing publishing. Topics range from editorial process and peer review to open access, predatory publishing, diversity in nursing scholarship, emerging technologies, and professional development for editors and authors.
Conferences are funded by registration revenue, with additional support from publishers and other interested organizations. INANE plans a conference outside of North America periodically, reflecting the international scope of the nursing editorial community. Each conference is organized and hosted by volunteers from the INANE community.
