A Trusted Resource for Nursing Publishing
The Nursing Journals Directory is a vetted list of journals reviewed for appropriateness for nurses and nursing scholars. Each entry includes the journal name, editor or editor-in-chief, editor contact information, a description of the journal, journal cover image, society affiliation when applicable, and a direct link to the journal website.
Authors can use the Directory to identify potential publication venues. Readers can discover journals in their areas of interest and expertise. Librarians can assess nursing journal coverage and identify titles for collection development.
How Journals Are Vetted for Inclusion
Not every journal that publishes nursing-related content is appropriate for inclusion. Journals are reviewed for appropriateness for nursing audiences, editorial quality, legitimacy of peer review processes, and relevance to nursing practice, research, or education. Journals that do not meet Directory standards are not listed.
Update Your Journal Information
The Directory underwent a major comprehensive update in October 2025. Editors and journal personnel received a personal link for ongoing self-service updates. If you need help locating your update link, please contact INANE.
